Change is never easy and, if poorly managed, it can have a negative impact on a person's wellbeing.

In this lesson, students will investigate the different changes that can occur over a person's life and simple strategies for managing change, including how to reframe thoughts, mindfulness, focussing on strengths and the importance of asking for support. The resource includes a video with real-world examples for discussion and interactive 'change game' to reinforce learning.

The Managing Change lesson supports the PSHE / Health and Wellbeing / RSE curriculum learning. It can be used independently, or with other BASE mental wellbeing lessons to build and strengthen learning.
