Time requirement: 45–60 minutes

Our minds (thoughts, feelings and concentration) are directly connected to our bodies. Everything that happens to your body will affect your mind and mental wellbeing.

In this lesson students will explore the connection between our bodies and our minds, analyse how food choices, physical activity and sleep can all impact our mental wellbeing and evaluate different strategies for making positive changes around food choices, physical activity and sleep.

The Healthy Minds lesson supports the PSHE / Health and Wellbeing / RSE curriculum learning. It can be used independently, or with other BASE mental wellbeing lessons to build and strengthen learning.
