How often do your students step out of their comfort zone?
Confidence isn’t innate, it is built over time and is an important aspect of mental well-being. By trying things outside of our comfort zone and believing that the more we try the better we will get, we are able to build confidence.

Find out how the Army helps to create confidence that lasts a lifetime in this assembly and lesson. We dispel common myths about confidence, discuss confidence-building situations and explore how we can use challenge to develop a growth mindset.

This lesson and assembly can be translated into a full PSHE lesson or split into short personal development sessions during tutor time. Confidence can be a running theme in which you work with your pupils to boost their life skills.
