Time requirement: x5 10–20 minute form time sessions

How does the Army support mental resilience?

These five form-time sessions work through the key psychological skills that are taught in the Army's Mental Resilience Training programme. Each session is supported by a short film including expert advice from Mental Resilience Coach Team Leader Reggie Lindsay MBE and examples of putting the skills into practice from other serving personnel.

Students will learn about:

  • Setting goals

  • Thinking positively

  • Emotional regulation

  • Managing worry

  • Mental rehearsal

The Army Experts resources can be used either as form time sessions or combined / used as activities in PSHE / RSE / Health and Wellbeing lessons.
