As Light Cavalry Soldiers we operate at Reach (so in front of the Forward Line of own troops) gathering information on the Enemy so that we can then pass to higher commanders to give them a better understanding of what’s happening on the battlefield. We also gather intelligence through speaking with the local population so that we can get a better understanding of the culture in the country we are operating in.
