Our primary mission is to train and prepare soldiers for frontline operations, routinely supporting our Regular counterparts on current operations and military taskings. We continuously train within our teams to build combat effectiveness and fighting spirit, with training that is challenging, developmental and rewarding. We also take part in a wide range of sporting activities, adventurous training and public engagements.

We provide military engineering support to the war fighting division. This looks like frequent, challenging, fun and engaging training with ample opportunities to deploy and develop skills further. An annual camp will consist of 14 consecutive days whereby our people will focus on engineering skills including bridge building, demolitions, water supply and many others. We have a targeted focus towards developing skills that enable us to support homeland resilience tasks, such as flood relief. Fully integrated in to our unit is our AGC Clerks, RLC Chefs and RAMC Medics who all provide continuous critical support which keeps this unique and historical unit fully operational.
