3 R WELSH are the only Army Reserve Infantry Unit in Wales. As a light role infantry battalion in 12 Brigade. 3 R WELSH routinely support the Regular Army on operations, exercise, and training both at home and overseas. We offer a vast array of exciting part-time opportunities. C Company has a Mortar Platoon and 2 Rifle Platoons. With locations in Pontypridd and Maindy Barracks (Cardiff).
When we meet:
We conduct training weekly on a Tuesday evening from 19.30 - 21.30. There are also opportunities to train at other days/times including weekends.
