3 R WELSH are the only Army Reserve Infantry Unit in Wales. As a light role infantry battalion within 12 Brigade. 3 R WELSH routinely support our Regular sister Battalion on operations, exercise, and training both at home and overseas. We offer a vast array of exciting part-time opportunities. A Company is a Rifle Company located in High Town Barracks, Wrexham, North Wales.
When we meet:
We conduct training weekly on a Tuesday evening from 19.30 - 21.30. There are also opportunities to train at other days/times including weekends.

This unit is the only Army Reserve medical unit based wholly in Wales. We provide medical personnel for planned and contingent operations. We train and assure Regular and Reservist soldiers and officers in support of clinical delivery on operations, at a range of medical treatment facilities (MTF) across the spectrum of conflict.
