Port Operators in the Army are an essential part of the Royal Logistic Corps and are responsible for managing and coordinating the movement of military equipment, ensuring everything is loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently at ports around the world.

They are trained in various methods of loading and unloading cargo from ships, including cranes and other heavy equipment. Port Operators are also responsible for ensuring that all cargo is properly labelled and documented to be easily identified and tracked throughout its journey.
