I have completed the Level 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker apprenticeship.

Can you tell us about the skills, knowledge and experiences that you got by doing your apprenticeship?

As an apprentice, I'm always on the lookout for learning opportunities. I enjoy engaging with my mentors and peers, and I make sure to reflect on my experiences to get the most out of my apprenticeship. My journey as a healthcare assistant apprentice is setting me up for a rewarding and successful career in healthcare.

Overall, this apprenticeship has really sharpened my skills in various areas of healthcare. I've gained valuable clinical exposure, learned the importance of patient-centred care, and improved my communication skills. Plus, I've become better at problem-solving, manual handling, and critical thinking.

What was the highlight of your apprenticeship experience?

It broadened my horizons about topics deeply rooted on the role of a Healthcare Assistant.
