If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it here: Reset Password

You’ll be asked to enter the email address you registered with. We’ll then send a reset link to the most recent email address we have for you.

If you don’t see the email, check your spam or junk folders. It can take up to 30 minutes to arrive. The link will take you to a form where you can create a new password.

Your new password must:

• Be 8 to 15 characters long

• Include at least one lowercase and one uppercase letter

• Include at least one number Include at least one special character: $@!%*#?&_+

• Not be a password you’ve used before for Army, Royal Navy or RAF recruiting

• Avoid common words or phrases that could identify you

Important: Don’t try to log in until you’ve seen confirmation that your password has been changed.

You can change your contact details when you're logged in to your Candidate Portal. Click the cog icon in the top right of your Dashboard, then select Edit Contact & Marketing Preferences.

On this page, you’ll see the information we hold for you. Some of it will be partially hidden (with ******) for security.

Here’s what you can update:

• Known name – If you go by a shortened version of your first name (like Jon instead of Jonathan), you can set it here. Please don’t use nicknames.

• Email address – If you change it, we’ll send future emails to your new address. But you’ll still need to log in using the email you originally registered with.

• Phone numbers – You can update your mobile or home number. Correspondence address – Add an alternative address if you’re living away from home (for example, at university or on placement).

• Contact preferences – Choose how we get in touch. You can select email, SMS or both—but you must choose at least one. We’ll use your preferred method to let you know when there’s a new message or task in your portal.

The answer to your security question must be typed exactly the same as it was when you first set it – this includes capital letters and any punctuation.

When you’ve logged in you will see your Dashboard, which will include a list of tasks. To access a task, just click it. Each task has a message that goes with it, which you’ll find in your inbox. Always read the message first, because it will give you more information about what we want you to do.

Your URN is your unique reference number. It helps us if you mention it whenever you contact us, so that we can quickly locate your record.

If you don’t know your URN, you can find it out by clicking the cog icon in the top right of the Dashboard whenever you are logged in. Your URN is displayed in the box marked Unique Reference Number.

If something’s not working, try this:

• Delete all the information you’ve entered so far.

• Click Save for Later.

• Start again—begin with your secondary school, selecting it from the list shown when you enter your town or postcode.

• Add your GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.

• Click Submit.

You can add any further or higher education later on.
