Top Tips for a successful application

Our recruiters share the top tips that will help you through the joining process:

  1. Be proactive - check your portal for updates and keep and eye on your progress. Make sure you submit any documents requested as quickly as possible so there are no delays.

  2. Have the right attitude - Having an open mindset and willingness to learn will help you.

  3. Keep motivated - There can be some long gaps between application stages but keep motivated by learning about the Army and the roles available. It's also good to start preparing for the assessment centre early.

  4. Missing an appointment - If you miss an appointment with a recruiter, don't worry. Try and let them know beforehand and they will rearrange it for a better time.

  5. Keep in touch with your recruiter - Our recruiters are there to help you succeed. If you have any questions, not matter how small, just ask they'll be happy to help.
